I have been active in astronomy since 1999. As the years have passed this hobby has evolved significantly as has my equipment. Currently, 2024, I share a remote observatory in Georgia which houses my Astro-Physics AP160 refractor, Astro-Physics 92mm Stowaway refractor and Astro-Physics AP1600GTO GEM. At home I have an Astro-Physics AP130 GT on top of a Software Bisque MyT equatorial mount. The observatory is shown on this page.
My primary job is an airline pilot. I fly captain and instruct in the Airbus 319/320/321 series.
As you can tell from the website, I believe God created the heavens and the earth. The Bible is clear that they were made by Him to display his glory. My goal is to display and share the beauty of creation on this website.
The psalmist wrote:
“When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?” Psalm 8:3-4.
