Western Veil Nebula

A large portion of the Veil Nebula is seen here in this false color image. Data from a Hydrogen Alpha filter was used in the red channel and data from an OIII filter was used in the blue and green channels. The image is a two frame mosaic combined using Registar and Photoshop CS3.
