Sharpless 254-258

Western Veil Nebula

This image contains 5 objects from the catalogue of Stuart Sharpless. It is centered on number 254. The brightest of the 3 largest objects located farthest right is also listed as IC 2162. The asteroid 5501 1982 FF2 is transiting near the upper right. After combining the color images, the red green and blue trail was visible.
