NGC 2175
| A very bright emission nebula in the constellation of Monoceros. It is often referred to as the Monkey Head nebula because of it's resemblence to the head of a monkey. This region is also known as Sharpless 252 in the catalogue named after Stuart Sharpless. This is a combination of 3 narrowband filters, Ha, SII, OIII and RGB stars blended into the final image. |
