Messier 103


This is another star cluster from the catelogue of famed comet hunter Charles Messier. This was the last entry in Messier's original catalogue, published in 1781. This cluster was original discovered by Pierre Mechain in 1781 and was added at the last minute by Messier in his list of comet like objects.
